I took a little break from crocheting my spring sweater to make some desserts for my nephew’s birthday. I love home made caramel.
I made caramel corn. There are lots of similar recipes online but I find the trick is to have a really big bowl to mix the caramel into the popcorn. I got a really big stainless steel bowl from the restaurant supply.
It was my first time making an ice cream cake. Using a springform pan makes it easy to look like an actual cake. It looks nice but we haven’t eaten it yet. It is all ice cream with a layer of home made caramel and chopped chocolate bars in the center. How could it be bad?
